Singin' in the Rain

Town Hall Theatre
July 5th - 21st 2024

Singin' in the Rain, was a stunning stage adaptation of the classic 1952 film. This production was a collaboration with High Cow Creative and many who so generously give hours of their time for the love of the arts. Directed by Brendan Cascarino and music by Jessica Green, this production brought a contemporary edge to a classic movie, bridging the gap for audiences of all ages and setting new standards for staging in community theatre in a small space. Designed to create an authentic reproduction of all the iconic scenes, including one of the most famous moments with rain onstage,  this work incorporated breathtaking dance, authentic visual pictures, costumes and film that took our audiences into the silent movie era. This production was deservedly rewarded with nominations for 9 CAT Awards early in 2025 for design, choreography, direction and performances.
